Independent Medical Examinations

Premier has a network of credentialed, practicing physicians who perform the Independent Medical Examinations to establish an informed expert opinion on the validity and nature of a claim, the appropriate diagnosis, the medical necessity of the treatment, and any future treatment needs.  In preparation for the examination, all of the medical records are collected and questions prepared for the physician examiner to ensure all the relevant issues are addressed.  Final reports are reviewed by Premier’s QA trained staff and tailored to meet state-specific and turn-around time requirements.  Premier assures an easy-to-use, trustworthy IME process so you can receive an accurate, defensible decision, every time.  In the event of arbitration or litigation, expert testimony, a specialty among our credentialed physicians, provides an informed evidence-based opinion about the questions in the case.
